Unit 1- My Weekends
Every weekend, I’m really busy because I have a part-time job. I work at a wedding ceremony hall. I’m always busy because I can’t make any mistakes there. Last weekend, I worked on Saturday and Sunday, and I worked for about 8 hours each day. Next Saturday, I’m going to work there for 14 hours. I’m depressed… The job there is really busy, but I also think it is fun sometimes. I always enjoy communicating with guests and co-workers, and I feel happy when seeing a happy couple. I also think my skills are growing with every party. Next Sunday after work, I’m going to meet my friend, go shopping and driving, and eat out. I’m looking forward to next Sunday coming soon!!
Unit2:My friend
Kuya Nishisaka is my friend’s boyfriend. He is also my best friend. He is twenty-two years old. He celebrated his birthday this April. He is about 177 centimeters tall. He has a good physique. His hair is black and short. He is very fashionable, so his clothes look expensive. Kuya is a great person. He always smiles, and he is thoughtful, so he makes everyone around him happy. Many people admire his personality regardless of young or old, man or woman. He is interesting and gentle, but he also has some bad points. He hardly never cooks. It’s not good for his health. Kuya has a lot of hobbies. He likes to travel; he has been to the USA and Japanese hot springs. He likes to meet friends and drink alcohol with them. He belongs to an alcohol drinking club, so he likes to hold parties.
I heard about his future from his girlfriend. He is going to graduate from Tomidai next year. He is going to work for a company in Toyama. He will be an office worker. Kuya will be a good member of society. I think he will be a good superior because he does whatever he can for people. He will have a lot fun in the future, too.
Unit 3- Friend Message
Dear Kenichi,
How are you? I’m fine. Today, it’s cloudy and a little windy, but the sun is sometimes shining. It’s the end of summer, but the weather is still like summer. How is it there? You live in Akita, so I think it’s cooler than here.
Recently, I’ve been really busy because I’m looking hard for a job, and I have to take exams in my school this week. I’m really tired. I wanna escape. However, I may find a job I’m interested in these days. I took an intervies at a company last week, and I thought I might have passed the exam! If I pass, let’s eat out together. How is your school life? Do you get along with your classmates? I’m worried about it, but I’m sure you have good friends and teachers because you are out-going.
I’m looking forward to meeting this winter vacation. Please say hello to your girlfriend.

Toshie
Unit5-Toshie’s First Day I Began to Work Job Now
Today was Toshie’s first day of her new job at a wedding ceremony house. She woke up early. She had to arrive there by 8:00 a.m. She wore her new uniform and thought about the day. When she planned what she would do today, she felt nervous. She had a lot to do there; for example, serving dishes (French course menu) for about 70 people, caring their drinks, and waiting on them. It was the first time for her to experience such a thing. Her brain was likely to burst.
At 8:00 a.m, Toshie’s job began. She was taught by her cool and gentle boss. Toshie thought her work would be really difficult. She couldn’t remember and understand what her boss said. I was worried about her job after this. However, Toshie’s co-workers helped her with all their might. Especially, one man taught her everything she needed to do as a representative. He was a year older than her. He was also student. He was really kind and never angry. Toshie respected and relied on him. That day, there was a wedding ceremony and reception there. Toshie didn’t have to do anything about the wedding ceremony. Her essential job was to work on the wedding reception.
There were moments that day when Toshie wanted to escape because of extreme anxiety, but in the end she did her best. Of course, she had made a lot of mistakes. When the party finished, she became a reticent person. However, she thought it was a work worth doing. She felt excited, too.
